Blackwell takes part in DEAC annual conference
Blackwell Global University was part of the official program of the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) Annual Conference, held in Washington, D.C. The event brought together accredited institutions, education leaders, and professionals involved in distance learning.
The conference serves as a platform for institutions to participate in discussions, sessions, and activities related to accreditation, quality standards, and developments in online education.
Participation in session focused on artificial intelligence
During the conference, Rober Aphang, Director of Student Services at Blackwell Global University, participated in the session titled “Integrating AI into teaching and student support to improve career outcomes.” The session addressed the use of artificial intelligence in educational processes and student services.
The participation reflects the institution’s involvement in discussions related to emerging technologies and their application in distance education.
Representation at DEAC centennial celebration
As part of the event, DEAC celebrated its 100th anniversary with official activities, including the Centennial Gala. Sherman D. Roberts, President of Blackwell Global University, attended the celebration alongside representatives from other accredited institutions.
The centennial event recognized the history and role of DEAC in accrediting distance education programs and supporting institutional development over time.
